Bill and his wife live in Monument Colorado.

Bill is a U. S. Navy Veteran serving 4–years active duty 1964-1968. Is a service disabled Vietnam Veteran serving 21-months in Vietnam with four deployments 1965 USS Bennington CVS20 Anti-Submarine Carrier Gulf of Tokin RVN, 1966 U S Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ELEVEN DaNang East RVN, 1967 U S Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ELEVEN Dong Ha RVN, and 1968 USS Sioux ATF75 Fleet Tug South China Sea.

Bill founded Wounded Warrior USA, LLC, (WW USA) August 9, 2010 as Colorado non-profit 501 (c)(3) that provides a fishing and outdoor outreach program for active duty rehabilitating military personnel and their immediate families and Gold Star families. The 100% public donation supported outreach program provides all the necessary fishing hardware and equipment, bait, tackle and a hot lunch food and drinks for every event. WW USA raises reginal project funds through annual open and ice fishing tournaments, meal deal hot dogs, and rib sales and collection box donations. During the 7-year operation there have been over 500 Active Duty Rehabilitating Wounded Warriors from the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Carson that have benefited a healing experiences from the Colorado Rocky Mountain outdoor adventures. The Warrior Transition Battalion Commanders have echoed the same “Please do not stop doing what you are providing to the neediest PTSD and TBI soldiers and families”.

Bill is a current member with the American Legion Post 9-11 Tri-Lakes at Palmer Lake Colorado and serves as an Executive Board Member.
